When Hostelling International’s U.S. network set out to redefine its identity, we saw an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of travel in a way no single logo could. Instead of one mark, we created more than fifty, each designed to reflect the unique history, culture and character of its location.
At the foundation, we built a cohesive parent brand for HI USA, uniting a diverse family of hostels under a shared visual language. The result is a dynamic identity system that’s as vibrant and varied as the travelers it welcomes, connected through one friendly, unmistakable name — HI USA.
